Criteria for Household Income Limits:

Gross amount of money a household can receive monthly & may still be eligible:

  • 1 person household - $1,490
  • 2 person household - $2,004
  • 3 person household - $2,518
  • 4 person household - $3,032
  • 5 person household - $3,547
  • 6 person household - $4,061
  • 7 person household - $4,575
  • 8 person household - $5,089
  • 9 person household - $5,604
  • 10 person household $6,119

Among the allowable deductions considered are:

  • Rent/Mortgage costs
  • Utilities / Telephone
  • Medical Expenses
  • Paid court-ordered child support

Criteria for Household Resource Limits:

  • $5,000 in bank account
  • $15,000 vehicle fair market value
  • Other non-liquid resources, for ex. your home and 401K account

Other Criteria:

  • No drug convictions since Aug. 22, 1996
  • May be on parole and still be potentially eligible
  • Children born in U.S. to undocumented residents may be eligible for Food Stamp assistance

  • For those without transportation
  • For the homebound
  • For those with disabilities
  • For those in school
  • For those with inflexible work schedules
