At South Plains Food Bank, our mission is to ensure no one in our community goes hungry. If you’re facing tough times and wondering how do I qualify for food bank assistance?—we’re here to help.
Who Can Receive Food Assistance?
We serve individuals and families across the South Plains who are experiencing food insecurity. Qualification is generally based on household income and need. If you receive assistance from programs like SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, or SSI, you likely already qualify.
What You’ll Need to Bring:
When you visit South Plains Food Bank or one of our partner food pantries, bring:
- A valid photo ID
- Proof of address (like a utility bill or lease agreement)
- Basic information about your household
If you don’t have these documents, don’t worry—we’ll work with you to get the help you need.
