Through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), South Plains Food Bank provides a box of nutritious food each month to low-income senior 60 years and older.
Who is Eligible?
- Anyone 60 years of age or older
- Must Apply in Person
- Your income must meet federal guidelines (see chart)
Income Guidelines (Per Person in Household)
- 1 - $1,354 per month
- 2 - $1,832 per month
- 3 - $2,311 per month
- 4 - $2,790 per month
- 5 - $3,269 per month
- 6 - $3,748 per month
- 7 - $4,227 per month
- 8 - $4,705 per month
What You Need To Apply
- ID or Driver’s License
- If possible proof of Income (only 1 of the following): this can be a Social Security Award Letter, Bank Statement, SNAP benefit awards letter, SSI Award Letter, or Check Stub.
- Proof of Address: Must be received within the last thirty days.
- Acceptable proof: Light, Gas, Water, or Phone Bill. We CANNOT use DL/ID as proof of address.

What is In A Senior Box?
- 1 or 2 boxes of cereal or a bag of oatmeal
- 2 cartons of 1% shelf stable milk
- 4 cans of vegetables
- 2 cans of fruits
- 1 can of meat or chicken
- 2 lbs of pasta or rice
- 2 64oz bottles fruit juice
- 1 jar of peanut butter or bag of beans
- 2 lb bar of cheese
- 1 Bag of powdered milk (every other month)
