Free behind the scenes mission luncheon!

We invite you to learn more about how our programs reach over 57,000 individuals each year and serve twenty counties across the south plains. Guests are often surprised at the overwhelming amount of need in our community for our services and the numerous ways that we are working to alleviate hunger.

Our FREE one hour Behind the Scenes Mission Luncheon takes place at the South Plains Food Bank. We are located at 5605 MLK Blvd. Monthly tour dates occur:

First Tuesday - Free Lunch (Noon-1pm)
Third Thursday - Free Lunch (Noon-1pm)

Those in attendance will learn detailed information about the programs and services offered by the South Plains Food Bank just like:

  • What is the GRUB program?
  • How is food distributed to those in need?
  • What is included in a food box?
  • Who can qualify for food from the SPFB?
  • Where does the food come from?
  • How does the food get delivered to rural communities?

These are just a few of the questions you will have answered when you attend a complimentary luncheon. Space is limited at each event, so please sign-up.

If you are unable to join us then, we are happy to come to your
organization, church group, family, etc. to introduce the Food Bank’s mission and programs.

We hope to see you there!

Sign-up for the Tour!
