Charities of the Southwest for the past 13 ½ years and is now excited to continue her passion for leading service as the CEO of the South Plains Food Bank.  She is a graduate of the Kellogg’s School of Executive Nonprofit Management, Leadership Texas, and currently serves on the City of Lubbock Community Engagement Task Force.

She enjoys building relationships with volunteers and donors and loves mentoring and witnessing the “ah-ha” moments others discover when they realize what the bigger picture of life has to offer.

Dina was raised in Lubbock and was given the opportunity to live in various places while her husband served in the military.  Dina has been married to her husband, Steve, for 33 years.  Their son, Alec, is a Lubbock police officer and will be marrying Caitlynn Adams in August 2020.  No bio would be complete without including the four-legged family members – her two yellow labs, Gracie and Jax!

She oversees the Community Resource Program, Nutrition & Wellness Program, Community Assistance Referral Engagement (CARE) Unit, Senior Program, Mobile Pantry Program, and Agency Services Department. Denise has been in the social services field for over 25 years and holds the mission of helping people close to her heart. Denise and her husband Brad have been married for 31 years. They have 2 adult children Nathan and Kaylee and a son-in-love Jace. Denise loves spending all her extra time with her family and her 2 precious granddaughters Loudin and Charlee.

With her passion for helping, the mission of ending hunger is close to her heart. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas.  A Plainview native, Vanessa and her husband Abel moved to Lubbock from Grapevine to raise their family which includes their sons Maddux and Easton, and their dogs Harleigh and Dallas.

Brad has been on the front line helping the food bank fight hunger in all 20 counties we serve. Brad has been married to his wife Denise for 31 years. the South Plains Food Bank he has had many roles, which has given him a full-circle understanding of what the South Plains Food Bank does to help the community.  Isaac has a heart of service and is passionate about helping others.  He has been married to his wife Annie for 12 years and enjoys spending time with his family.  Isaac and Annie have a daughter Jemma as well and three fur babies: A Black Lab named Luna and a Chocolate Lab named Koko, as well as a bunny named Thumper that they rescued.
