Charities of the Southwest for the past 13 ½ years and is now excited to continue her passion for leading service as the CEO of the South Plains Food Bank.  She is a graduate of the Kellogg’s School of Executive Nonprofit Management, Leadership Texas, and currently serves on the City of Lubbock Community Engagement Task Force.

She enjoys building relationships with volunteers and donors and loves mentoring and witnessing the “ah-ha” moments others discover when they realize what the bigger picture of life has to offer.

Dina was raised in Lubbock and was given the opportunity to live in various places while her husband served in the military.  Dina has been married to her husband, Steve, for 33 years.  Their son, Alec, is a Lubbock police officer and will be marrying Caitlynn Adams in August 2020.  No bio would be complete without including the four-legged family members – her two yellow labs, Gracie and Jax!

Meagan is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Lubbock and a 2021 Fellow Cohort of the New Strategies Fundraising Program through Georgetown University. She is responsible for the development department and sustainable funding board committee, cultivating and maintaining relationships while striving to reach the goal of sustainable funding for the SPFB through many different avenues. Born and raised in Lubbock, TX, Meagan has been married to her husband Travis for 15 years and they have 3 children, 1 dog and two cats. She is a proud police wife and Navy mom.

As a strong advocate for the ending of child hunger, he has emphasized his efforts towards providing our children of West Texas with meals to encourage the development of healthier eating habits. Currently, Isaiah oversees the at-risk after school CACFP program, Summer Food Service Program, Snack Pack program, as well as the catering department of the food bank. As a Lubbock native, Isaiah enjoys spending time with close family and friends along with his two dogs – Ellie & Saria.

Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas.  A Plainview native, Vanessa and her husband Abel moved to Lubbock from Grapevine to raise their family which includes their son Maddux, and their dogs Harleigh and Dallas.

Denise has been in the social services field for over 25 years and holds the mission of helping people close to her heart. Denise and her husband Brad have been married for 31 years.
