You are invited to our 2013 Annual Agency Conference!

This is your opportunity to meet with other agencies of South Plains Food Bank, as well as learn more about policies and programs which will affect and enhance the mission of your agency. All agencies are required to have at least one representative, no more than three at the conference.

Each session will contain information that is beneficial and important to every agency - whether an on-site feeder, a pantry, mobile pantry or a voucher program. We will also have information booths about programs that will be of interest to you. Come expecting to learn - and to share your knowledge.

The conference will be held at Trinity Christian School, 6701 University Avenue, Lubbock, Texas. (A map is attached.)

 Who should attend:

  • Agency Directors
  • Staff/volunteers who work with clients
  • Staff/volunteers who handle food
  • Kitchen Staff
  • Administrative Staff

 Registration:

  • There is no fee to attend the conference.
  • There is also no limit on the number of representatives from each agency who can attend the conference.
  • All registration will be done online only at: http://www.spfb.org/agencies/agency-conference.
  • Please register each person who will be attending. (You will receive an email confirmation when your registration has successfully been received.)

Becoming a "Feeding the Hungry" Partner

The South Plains Food Bank partners with over 200 non-profit organizations throughout our 20 county service area to provide food assistance through voucher program, pantries, on-site feeders, and mobile pantries.

Through our distribution partners, the South Plains Food Bank serves more than 9,000 families in need every month. Each partner agency is designated a 501(c)(3) organization. Only authorized agencies may qualify to partner with the South Plains Food Bank. Authorized agencies include: churches, social service organizations, senior centers, shelters, and soup kitchens.

The SPFB reserves the right to refuse services to any organization that does not meet the minimum requirements of the SPFB, does not correlate with its mission statement, or does not abide by the SPFB’s policies and procedures.
